I don't often write reviews but of course I always pay attention to other reviews. I'm a hobby woodworker and have seriously considered making this item myself, but the reasonable price made me just buy it. I'm glad I did. I have to say that the magnets are incredibly strong. I'm not worried that my knives, no matter the size, are securely fastened. This has been my primary concern for both safety and maintenance of my knives. However, as a carpenter, I attach great importance to craftsmanship. I can't imagine doing better myself. Actually, I don't think I could. Beautiful grain, invisible stitching, flawless finish. These are all hallmarks of a skilled craftsman and a person who cares about their product. I will not hesitate to buy again!
