How to get the perfect fit

These gloves represent excellent value for money. They are true to size. Keep in mind that they are leather and should be a little tight to begin with. Once worn, they stretch no more than 10% and conform to your hands. To get the perfect fit, you may need a "glove modification". Here's how: The ankle protector should fit comfortably over the ankles, if not, GENTLY pull the skin over it. Then adjust the knuckle guard to the ideal position for your hand and then smooth the skin over the BC to keep the BC in place. Ah, you will feel the difference immediately! If the finger is too long you can snip a small amount of material from the fingertip, turn the glove inside out and use some really good scissors to trim off the excess. Material. But be careful not to remove too much as you will need material to create the seam. I gave it 4 stars because the first few times you wear these gloves you have to wash your hands to get the black color off your hands. Additional padding on the ball of the hand would have been nice. Hope that helps.
