Review on 🐱 Wellness CORE Signature Selects: Premium Grain Free Wet Cat Food with Shredded Real Meat in Healthy Gravy Sauce by Kerri Houston

I don't know what's going on with companies that "rephrase". First Halo, which I feed my dog (even if he will eat it), now Wellness. I've been feeding my cat Signature Selects chicken and turkey escalope since we rescued her 6 years ago. He loved it. I even liked the smell, it reminds me of a human turkey, like a Thanksgiving dinner. I placed my last order last week and received a modified version. I won't complain about the smaller package and that's not what this review is about. Update: Cat likes it now, they seem to have changed it again. I changed the stars back New recipe for darker, almost rust colored meat. The smell is more reminiscent of normal cat food. Okay, since I don't eat it alone and it's not a big deal in and of itself. Trouble is, my cat Yardley hates him. Barely touched. According to the old formula, he usually cleaned the plate dry. I know they say to mix the new food with the old first so they get used to it. Guess what? I wasn't made aware of these enterprise-level solutions, so I didn't need to add old stuff. I had to give up the turkey, no pun intended. Why do companies do this? Cats are amazing but can be a little finicky. If wellness doesn't go back to the old formula and FAST, I'll look elsewhere. And for me 1 star is generous as obviously I wasted my money and worse my cat will be hungry. Updated again on 10/02/19: still great consistency, kittens happy.
