Not a good idea in the long run

Cosmetically, I was satisfied with my crowns. I had to fix the trunk. They told me to take them off for several reasons. They damage your sensors. They rust from items you cannot remove i.e. last resort or just as a backup. They cost money in the long run. It broke my heart.
