The new LID formula for lamb and rice is terrible. My dog with food allergies has been eating this brand and flavor with no problem for over 7 years until a new and improved formula hit the shelves last month or so. She refuses to eat it, or when she is finally hungry enough to give up and eat it, she has stomach problems. A few weeks later I took her to the vet for weight loss and digestive issues (poo) thinking she was sick. The good news is my dog is fine; The vet asked about her food and she knew straight away that the problem wasn't my dog but the new formula as the vet had several other owners with the same issues. No matter what Natural Balance did to the formula, it didn't improve anything except maybe their wallet! Very disappointed with the purchase and very sorry for my dog who now has to adjust to new food. Food consistency is very important to a dog's health, consult a veterinarian (I don't think Natural Balance did this). So now I have to experiment with new brands and products to find what works for my beloved dog. And when I say new food I mean a completely different brand, I will stop buying Natural Balance food and switch to the competitor's line.
