Review on Glencairn Whiskey Glass by Stolzle by Brinson Quarterman

I recently bought this glass to enjoy (you guessed it) a sip of whiskey. And wow, I was surprised. I never expected the glass to have any significant meaning. Not at all. My expectations were fully justified. It may be that with the help of this glass I tasted the whiskey effectively, but the taste has also noticeably (and significantly) improved. In fact, I started with a "daily drink" to see if there was a difference. The first words out of my mouth were "Wow". Then I returned for another. The glass itself is beautifully finished and while some people complain about the engraving on the base I find it interesting. Although they could definitely come up with a better design (maybe a stylized Glencairn G on the box). Overall I was surprised in the best possible way and despite my pre-purchase skepticism I will be buying more to carry around and possibly give as gifts.
