Review on πŸ‘’ O'Neal Women's Rider Boot in Black and Pink - Size 8 (Black/Pink, Size 8) by Steven Asthana

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Protective and stiff, making riding difficult and annoying

Pros: Heavy duty (weight indicates quality) Protective (prevents burns or shin misalignment in falls) Cons: Too stiff boot area flexes inward, when you bend your ankle put pressure on my leg and hurt) too hard again. It's so heavy and thick that I can't feel the bike's legs. I keep accidentally shifting into neutral or another gear while applying the rear brake and I have to lift my whole leg to shift up because the shoes are so stiff I can't move my ankle. It's annoying when driving. So this is a quality safety boot. They just don't allow any movement, so I don't feel the footpegs/gears/brakes on my off-road bike. Eventually I got frustrated and went back to my tennis shoes. I will be looking for new boots that offer more ROM while protecting me from dirt and burns from exhaust fumes.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
