I was lucky enough to find the same brand "Enercell" as my old battery so I was able to find the exact model number 23-935. It is NOT enough just to meet the specifications of 3.6V/700mAh; I learned this the hard way; previous purchase was too small for my cordless phone. That's why there are so many one star reviews here - because it didn't fit, not because it had a crappy battery (my previous Enercell lasted at least three years, long enough that I can't remember exactly how old it is ). Cordless phones should simply use three standard AA (or AAA) nickel cadmium or nickel metal hydride batteries. Simple math: 3 x 1.2V = 3.6V, just like the specs for this brand battery. (700mAh is just how long it lasts on a single charge.) If you can find a phone like this, buy it! Stop the picky battery craze.
