I bought an air pump because the current one I was using worked great but got noisy after a few years of use so I bought it as a backup air pump stops working, it's also good to have a backup if you don't want your fish or plants to die. Recently, my noise air pump finally broke and died. I replaced and hooked up this air pump and sometime after a weekend the air pump died. It could only last a day maybe 2 days, I didn't test it but then after 3 days I noticed my plants were struggling strangely so I lifted the bay of the tank and didn't notice any air bubbles where they were in shape and found that the air pump stopped working. The air pump is very quiet so I didn't notice when it broke but I only used it for 3 days and I think the air pump is so quiet because it never worked. But it worked 3 days ago and it's been very quiet, I'm just pissed because my exotic fruit seedlings that I grew that cost me a little over $450 are now dying from the roots sitting in stagnant water with no oxygen . , EXCELLENT, in addition to the rush to order a new air pump, I think I chose another, more reliable brand because I bought it before and it lasted almost 6 years. I will not name the brand because I am not here to harm this company and move their business elsewhere, I am not the right person as I am a small business owner. And since I bought this air pump as a fallback I can't return it and as a fallback I can't recommend it because I'm screwed right now but luckily I live next door to Amazon so my new air pump should arrive using another, more reliable pump Brand. Thankfully, after a few hours, that air pump worked and didn't kill my seedlings, so I still have a chance to save $450 worth of seedlings. I wasn't impressed with this pump, it broke within the first three days. 3 DAYS OR LESS it's not a good first impression and I can't give you feedback on the noise because of course it's pretty much not pumping air, it's still perfect, brand new and hopefully my girlfriend hasn't thrown the box away yet, I am pretty sure i still have it but if you are the store that sold me this and you are reading this i would appreciate a refund and i will send the air pump back if you pay for shipping, since I said it's new and broken
