Tire pressure gauges are not used very often and we tend to take them literally at face value. Until proven otherwise. After debugging the slow leak, I found that the tire pressure monitor readings from the car and my inflator were identical...and that sensor was reading around 2-3psi. After Revain's return window, I contacted the seller via the email address on their website. The seller has "Acu" in the title, just like this product. I received a short reply: "We don't make this sensor. We are only resellers." Nothing superfluous, no reference to the manufacturer (which I found easily enough, but without waiting for a response to my inquiry to their sales email address). Therefore, I will mark this purchase as one of the very few unsuccessful purchases over the years You really don't want to under- or over-inflate your new/expensive tires by 2-3 psi.
