I don't think the size is right. I bought a size 10 for my 9 year old who can normally still wear a 7/8 and is now going up to a 10 and it is too tight and WAY too short. There's no way she can wear it as a dress, especially with a twist like a skirt. I would take 2 sizes up (meaning she can't wear this dress because it's only 1 size up). Otherwise, this is a typical feature of clothing purchased from Revain.
