Let me start by saying that they are adorable and will probably work well if your child only wears them a few times on vacation to the beach. . I bought mine for the water feature at summer camp. Today is only my 5th day of play in the water and I don't think they will last much longer - I'll end up buying a new pair for the rest of camp. The problem is that the fabric frays where it connects to the sole so one day you come home with a hole in your toe and they're trash. So if you need them for a short time they are perfect, just don't expect them to last long.
