I ordered this with the intention of using it for my son's 1st birthday. I measured his foot before ordering and compared it to the size chart. His foot is approximately 4-3/4 inches, which according to the chart is shoe size for 6-12 months. I decided to buy shoes for 12-18 months (for a 5-1/8" sole) hoping to get a little more wearability. I'm disappointed that it doesn't fit - it's still too small. The product is correctly priced. Beautiful. However, as I ordered using the size chart and it was still too small, I am very disappointed. If you are determined to order it, it may be best to order different sizes and return the one that doesn't fit as the size chart can't be trusted.
