I was a little nervous about ordering 4 given the lower reviews complaining about the assembly. I'm not sure what all the fuss was about because while there were no instructions, it only took me 15-20 minutes to assemble each chair. I think the confusion has to do with the wire base which is not symmetrical by design. The trick is to line up the holes in the bottom of the chair with the corresponding legs before inserting the screws. That's all. In addition, the chairs are awesome, don't creak, are amazingly comfortable and easy to clean. The finish is matte rather than glossy and beautifully constructed. They even scammed a friend who owns a mid-century vintage furniture store. Not that bad!
