Need to Be Broken In

At first glance, this wallet has almost all expected features. The only feature I would say is some sort of mechanism for storing loose awards/business cards between the folds. But I see that this wallet is good for traveling and not for everyday use. The reasons lie in the small details that you wouldn't know about if you didn't pick them up. 1. He advertises the ability to hold 8 to 10 cards. Without tears (skin stretching over time) I don't see 8+ cards fitting comfortably. Only getting 7 in a brand new wallet will be hard to get back. This is especially true for cards with raised letters.2. Deerskin looks nice but there are also some internal pockets/compartments. This adds A LOT of friction to your cards, especially when the skin isn't stretched. This can make it difficult to insert and remove cards that are not in the pull tab tray when they are full.3. The pocket on the outside of the wallet has a slot for this card. The problem is that it doesn't protrude into your pocket enough for you to take out the card. You have to use your fingernails or put your finger behind the card in the pocket itself (which defeats the purpose of the cutout design).4. The wallet does not stay closed when closed. I'm used to those wallets with magnets on the ends to hold the flaps together. This wallet doesn't have that. If that were the case, then free business cards and reward cards would be a feature it could support. The more cards you add, the worse it gets, but I'm sure the hack will solve part of the problem. I see an advantage in not using magnets as they will be confused with hotel cards, but still. Conclusion: If only they would make the wallet a little wider, loosen up the pockets for you and line up the pockets/compartments on the inside. With a different, smoother material, this wallet would be perfect. We argue about whether to return or not, or just use it for travel. The price isn't really worth it when I use it as I don't mind losing it and the small amount of content I can store in it when I'm away from home.
