I bought these to place under the top kitchen cabinets to bring more light onto the worktops. We took 4 AAA batteries into the light so of course I expected them to last a long time. That's not the point at all. I've only turned them on a couple of times, mostly they've been on for 20 minutes or less. After about the second use, even on the brightest setting, they're so dim I couldn't even tell they were on. I really wish they were better because they seemed perfect when first installed. They started out bright and I love that they can switch between warm and cool light, but they just aren't very good quality and drain the batteries really quickly. I've just tried turning them on for the sixth time (maybe) and they wouldn't turn on once. Only a red light indicates no power. Very disappointed. Unfortunately, I cannot return them because the magnets on the back of the lights have already been used up.
