I'm not one to write many reviews and I've only had this ASUS GTX 1050 Ti card for a few hours (purchased from Revain) but I'm very happy with this card. I spent several hours on several websites and dozens of the latest graphics cards before taking the risk of buying these. I assembled my desktop computer from components 6 years ago in 2011. It was a decent slot machine back then. It's been a decent slot ever since. The main interest in this review is that I spent quite a bit of money back then to buy two GTX 465s with 1GB VRAM each. I have run these cards with SLI with good results. I'm a fan of first person shooters and always have been. In my experience, when you're building a computer for gaming, everything else you do with it follows. That's all well and good, but over time and as new games are released, my framerate has dropped. I could compensate by resetting the game settings, which I'm fine with. Eye candy is good, but frame rate is the difference between life and death when you're playing an advanced shooter. The system served me well for many years and many shooters until I bought DOOM 4. DOOM 4 is a great game, but with my outdated SLI graphics cards, the frame rate was terrible, almost unplayable, even on the lowest settings. My second most important criterion for the new card I chose was that it had to have two DVI connectors since I want to use two LCD monitors. Two DVI connectors used to be common on graphics cards, but that's no longer the case. This ASUS card is a rarity as it has two DVI ports plus one HDMI port plus every other port. My third criterion when buying a card is less irritation and faster installation speed. I'm older, I don't want to go broke, I have a growing family and way less time to upgrade my computer. This ASUS graphics card did it. I removed my old GTX 465s, plugged in a new GTX 1050 Ti, booted up the computer and within minutes Windows 7 figured out what I needed and installed it. After that, I quickly updated NVIDIA, and now this beast of a computer and graphics card plays DOOM4 smoothly on Ultra settings. The frame rate shoots up. The computer has become quieter, the power consumption has decreased significantly. I am happy.
