I needed furniture for our kitchen that would be a table to pay bills. It seems all the mail and bills just end up on the kitchen table or on the island. It's a great surface for storing documents and an even better drawer for storing my laptop when I'm not using it. This is a solid and well-made unit, not the usual flimsy chipboard junk I'm used to. I wanted to go to IKEA but COVID made it impossible. I'm actually glad my plans were thwarted. It took me a few hours to assemble but I am very happy with the purchase. We can even put our printer on the shelf below, keeping it out of sight and freeing up space it would otherwise clutter up.
