Out of the box the product was not damaged, it was wrapped in bubble wrap but more padding should have been added to prevent objects from falling into the box slide. The product itself is "good". The weatherstrip is too long so it doesn't fit the molding as snugly as it should. Actual frame size fits my 2008 Ford Fusion but does not hug the door frame leaving a small gap. I have a feeling that tightening the bolts is no longer helping and may break the bolts (which I have done once in the past). The mirror is not a "fun house" mirror, but the objects appear closer compared to the original mirror. Overall a "good" product. Just a few minor fixes from the manufacturer and this product will be perfect. My only concern is if water gets into the crack, time will tell. Hope that helps
