I am not at liberty to speak about the effectiveness of the product; I have no way of knowing if these filters work as well as the Keurig filters. But I can confirm that the filters are identical to the naked eye and fit just as well as the filters that came with my Keurig water filter starter kit (part #5072). I wouldn't be able to tell any difference next to one of the original filters. It's important to note that this inexpensive set of six filters (the purchase that saved me about $20 compared to a comparable pack of Keurig brand filters). So follow the Keurig filter instructions. If you haven't done this, the sequence is as follows: 1. Soak the filter in water for 5 minutes.2. Rinse for 60 seconds.3. Wash the bottom filter holder screen4. Insert the filter into the upper filter holder and snap the lower filter holder5 into place. Advance the changeable date disc by 2 months6. Place the filter holder into the tank and press down until it clicks into place.
