Purchased for our 4.5ft tree. The length was perfect. The light is very bright and overall I am satisfied. I was confused as to what the names of the color change patterns mean. I assumed most options would be for full color lighting and 2-3 settings for 2 color samples - I was wrong. I suggest watching a video about color change pattern options. In particular, I wanted a SLOW flicker in the full color combination, which is not an option. You can do a fast flicker with all colors (but I didn't find it very relaxing) or a slow glow (all colors and brightness go from off to full brightness and then back off. I didn't like it since the tree isn't glowing) about 1 second between each cycle. I opted for a constant on.
