First I have a few problems with this device. The color is matte, while all the dashboards I've seen are the standard glossy plastic color. Second is the fit, it's not completely flush, there is a gap on the right side curve (enough to be noticeable). Well that's a personal grudge, I wish Metra would make a kit to match the style of the original dash. (rounded) where it has a recess of about 1 inch (bottom of hole). This would be ideal if you are installing a standard double din head unit. With a little trimming of the kit hole, you can actually mount a larger screen. This works best with a single din stereo. The only problem you might have is that a bit of the silver of the stereo's chassis would be showing. But that's nothing, a trip to your local truck stop of choice and some ingenuity couldn't fix that.
