Worked great. I was hesitant to buy after reading some of the low star reviews but I took a chance and I'm glad I did. No more holding the gate with your head on cold days. They are smaller in diameter than my stock pistons, but still work fine at 35* at night. Very easy installation, took 15 minutes even with finding tools. Remove and keep the 4 clips C that hold the pins, support the gate with a stick and remove the pins working from one side and then the other side. Remember to reattach the top pins first as it is easier to lift the gate to align the bottom pins than the top. I had to take the channel locks and compress (bend) the strut on the lower butt mount since the steel strut is made of a thicker material than the stock. never mind I've added photos, the stock piston on the right with a large chrome rod.
