Review on Launa #40 Lubricant Oil Made In Japan by Cory Spence

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Simple and reliable

I love restoring old vintage lenses. I used to use a traditional metal compass to unscrew lens parts, but I'm always afraid of losing or scratching the lens. Don't worry about that. They can be used on either side for a variety of lens sizes. Since I've had them, I've used them on every lens I've worked on. Bonus: They also serve as easy stands if you want to photograph the lens after you're done with it.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Good suction tool for the precise placement of lenses.
