The product is excellent! I drive a relatively small 2007 Hyundai Elantra sedan. I had other types of seat savers but they just didn't fit or cover. There are textured dots on the bottom that help prevent the hammock from slipping too much. And the slot inserts really help keep the hammock in place. This seat cover is said to be "waterproof". Haven't tested it yet but seems to work great on my dog's saliva. Maybe I can test it sometime when the dogs are bathing in the river or something. Instead of using the straps that were used to tie the bottom of the straps, I tied the end of the straps in a knot and tucked it into the slot at the bottom so it stretched outward and was taut (instead of hanging out at the seat) .
