Review on Perixx PERIBOARD-409H: Compact USB Mini Keyboard with Dual USB Hubs, Black, US English Layout by Doug Darling

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Nice looking small form factor, but cluttered with cables.

I like it. Because of its small form factor, this is a great backup keyboard. Good aesthetics. I can't comment on durability as I haven't used it for a long time. While it seems reasonably well made, given the low price, I have my doubts about its durability and expected longevity. My primary keyboard is a Logitech Bluetooth wireless headset. From time to time it disconnects from my computer and prevents me from entering my login password. Therefore, a replacement wired keyboard is required to login and reinstall the wireless keyboard driver. This also happens intermittently with a wireless mouse. So it's best to have a wired keyboard and mouse handy. I do not like it. The wire part is made of very hard PVC vinyl, so those who use this item as their main keyboard will find it difficult to keep it straight. In other words, the wire is not smooth and flexible so all kinks and kinks are noticeable (a lot of noise in the cable). The cable is also very long, which is great for people who like to sit away from their computer and monitor(?), but impractical for those who want to minimize cable clutter. Considering this price, it is a disposable product. It doesn't look like it could be easily recycled (so 1⭐️ for its high environmental impact). In general. Great for my needs (inexpensive, redundant wired keyboard with low expected usage). No Conflict of Interest: I received NO compensation (e.g., cryptocurrency, cash, salary, salary, coupon, gift card, item on sale, rebate, refund, free item, or other financial incentive) for this item and my review of the same myself. I have Nothing to do with either the seller or the manufacturer of this product. I bought this item for private use.
