Polk Omni BT Soundbar Remote

If you have a named soundbar and are looking for a new remote, stop here. Short answer: although it's not actually a remote control. This is the perfect replacement, no setup required, it works right out of the box. Long answer: I rarely write reviews, but this time I felt lost figuring out the best way to replace the original remote that other Omni Polk owners needed. The original remote control broke after 2 years of use. The volume button has worn down to the point where it has a hole in it, and the Option 1 button no longer serves its original function and has become a volume up button. Same as option 2. Option 1 turning up the volume once would be the maximum in itself. I would then have to get up and go to the soundbar to reduce it. After looking at the original instruction manuals and user manual (online), I couldn't. If you can't find a remote part number or exact replacement anywhere on the internet, save your time searching, you won't find it. I spent a lot of time on this. Obviously it's not the same remote control so I don't want to buy this product. I even tried programming my TV remote for the Omni Polk soundbar, but you need a working remote with Omni Polk capability to program another remote (I turned down the volume to use the TV remote working but had no luck turning up the volume) so it was so useless. I took a leap against common sense and it worked perfectly. got it
