After moving out of state to go to college I ordered these scissors so I could cut my hair without going to the salon every month (yes my hair grows that way wrong, so fast). To be honest, unless I want to change my shape or completely change my look, I'm not sure I'll ever go to the hairdresser again! These scissors are sharp, efficient, easy to hold and easy to use. No more nerve pain when working with scissors whose holes are too small for my fingers; No more frustrating attempts to cut your hair just because the blades get stuck—all at a price college students can afford! I know they are marketed for men but they still work great with my hair. I've used them a few times and haven't had any split ends or problems with them (although I only cut my hair when it was wet as any dry cut would damage the strands). I can't compare anything super expensive. but to be honest I don't think I need it. If you need to cut your hair I would say give it a try!
