Review on Shun Classic 6-inch Ultimate Utility Knife: Versatile, High-Performance Japanese Handcrafted Kitchen Knife with VG-MAX Cutting Core and Damascus Cladding by Robert Pearson

This knife is in its class. At first I was a little surprised by the thickness and shape of the blade, as well as the mixed use. I was looking for the perfect tomato slicer and since this knife wasn't made specifically for fruit/veg I didn't know what to expect. I have several Shun products and find them to be excellent. This particular knife proved to be the perfect complement for slicing all kinds of fruit and vegetables and is also great for bread. I use it more often and it doesn't disappoint me. Highly recommended.
