Review on GOLDENROD Industrial Pump Oiler with πŸ”© Flex Spout - 12 oz. Capacity (707) by Daniel Casper

Disappointed, good for transferring fuel and grease

Well I've ordered two of these. I was excited as they are made in the USA but my excitement quickly turned to disappointment. On the positive side, the pump runs quietly and the amount of oil flowing out is easy to control, even with very thin spindle oil. Now for the rest. Both leaked immediately. I filled them up and checked them but went out the next day and found they were leaking everywhere. Sure I can fix both, but I don't need to fix a brand new product. They should come first with no leaks. I fixed the one that was leaking next to the leather gasket because it was fast. The second is back. It leaks where the handle attaches to the lid of the jar. It can be attached with epoxy, solder, or solder, but it has some sort of clear coat on it that needs to be removed first. In view of the price-time ratio, this is too complex for me. I took a gamble on the price as I only need four oilers. I'm glad I only bought two to try instead of all four at once. It looks like the factory lacks some kind of quality control. I recommend going further and spending the extra money to get a better brand.
