Don't get me wrong, they are very well finished and anodized. but they are useless for most tire valves because they are the wrong length. You see, these caps are just over 5/8 inch long and are fully threaded with a rubber grommet at the very bottom. The problem is that most tire valve stems are 1/4" 3/8" threaded at best. You screw these caps in and slide the bottom onto the metal threads without the valve stem rim touching the gasket. thus the caps will not be airtight. If the valve core leaks, pressure will escape from the threads because the stem edge is not sealed. It's about 3/32"1/8" apart. They should have made the caps shorter. or have a fixed end with shorter threads. Too bad I liked her. I sent them back as soon as I received them.
