Review on Enhanced Privacy and Heat Control with Finnez Rainbow Window Film: 3D No Glue Glass Sticker for Glass Door Home and Office Anti UV, Size 17.5 x 78.7 inches by Pamela Beatty

I bought this window film for living room side windows that are low and only 3m from our neighbors' side windows. Every time we opened the blinds it felt like we were living in an aquarium. The problem was that with the blinds closed the room was too dark all day. This film was the perfect solution to our problem. It lets in a lot of light and actually offers some visibility when looking outside (we could easily see if someone was standing outside), but it's almost impossible to make out anything when looking outside. Although the film itself has no color, it creates a pretty nice prismatic effect when the sunlight comes through and really brings the room to life. After installing the film we decided to purchase more for our kitchen and laundry room. Now our nosy neighbors will have to look elsewhere... For the installation I bought a spray mortar kit from our local bulk box store - probably also available from Revain if I had thought about it at the time - that came with a plastic scraper, lint - free fabrics and cutter. It was worth the price as you have to make sure the glass is completely wet when applying the film and the spray solution works much better than water alone. Also, the squeegee was the perfect size and shape to deal with all the air bubbles - I was very thankful for that. The only thing that was generally difficult (quite time consuming) was the need to measure accurately before cutting the film. You don't want the film to be larger than the actual glass area or it won't adhere properly. At the same time, you do not need noticeable gaps between the film and the edge of the window, giving it an arbitrary look. As the saying goes, measure twice and cut once. Otherwise a simple job that brings a lot for little money. I highly recommend this product.
