These boxes are a good size although they don't contain many brands of nail polish as shown in the photos. I wanted them to basically carry things like files to my mom's house but figured they might be good for general storage of some of those things as well. However, once I have them, I wouldn't trust them to store anything fragile (like my glass files). They just aren't strong enough - I can bend the boxes a little without using force, and they don't snap into place as securely as I'd like. There's a small handle, but even when it's closed you have a little wiggle room before you get to where it's hooked. If the boxes were knocked off the counter or something, I think they would pop open easily. The boxes stack well and it's nice that they come with a 'manicure set' and a 'pedicure set', they just aren't as sturdy as I'd hoped.
