Review on Penn Plax Cascade Aquarium Filtration by Brian Kingsford

I ordered this filter based on reviews and information I found online that the filter is very quiet. My old filter was running low and getting very noisy. Judging by the dimensions, it would fit in the same area. I placed an order and when I received the item it was damaged in the packaging. Large opening in front of the filter. There was a tiny hole in the front of the box, which was the only evidence of an external impact. I thought anything could happen so I asked for a replacement and sent the old one back. A few days later I received the second filter. This box had a corner chipped off and had clearly been opened earlier. I opened the box and inside the filter there were clearly used filters and all the material was damp inside and there was also water in the tank. And the filter broke again. At this point my old filter failed and I was doing daily water changes to keep up with the aquarium and unfortunately one of my fish died while waiting for the second build. I called Revain support and they gave me a third filter and I sent the old one back. The third had to wait another 2 days. Luckily no other fish died. I finally got a device that wasn't broken or previously used! I installed a filter on the tank and it's amazing how quiet it is. Not quiet by any means, but definitely the quietest I've ever had. Also, it looks cool on the tank. I'm curious how it works. Although I'm very upset with the seller, I can't fault the product. And I will update the review accordingly
