Review on 63 3059 AirCharger Performance Intake System by Jayson Sharma

I have used K&N on many cars for a long time and am a fan of them. Got this as a gift and replaced my original air system because it had a broken rubber and was expensive to replace. The problem here is not just with K&N, but rather with the machine it was created for. The exhaust runs about 4 inches just below the intake pipe, meaning cold air is absolutely impossible here and actually gets hotter than in other cars. I've personally wrapped the part of the exhaust closest to the air intake in hopes of cooler results, but you still can't touch the plastic air intake without seriously burning yourself. Weaning probably sucks 6-7 out of 10. You need to move 2 computers to the heat shield and attach brackets to your powertrain and radiator. Sloppy filter routing through the screen from the K&N side. Your instructions are INCREDIBLY poor and the price is significantly high compared to other vehicles you are offering for a plastic part that has many performance-killing aspects.
