I received it in exchange for my honest review. I don't have much experience with charcoal, but I wanted to give it a try. The first image is a gel print I made on multimedia paper. Flower patterns were very blurry. I drew the edges of the flower above with one of the soft charcoal pencils. I really liked how it turned out. The other picture is just a small flower I made to illustrate the springiness of soft pencils. I used tortillon. Overall, I gave the pens 5 stars because I think they're great. However, for the "gift” I only bet 3. This is because, in my opinion, gift sets should be somewhat "all inclusive”. In other words, I expect the gift set to include as much of the following as possible: pencil case, eraser(s), tortillas, and maybe even a pencil sharpener.
