Review on Auto Meter 2639 Z-Series Electric Oil Temp Gauge, 2-1/16 Inch by Keith Montague

I installed this gauge on my ultra classic Harley that required removing the front fairing cover and draining the 5 liter Redline (@14.75 qt) oil just to get around the gauge Not having it working, the needle will move 1/4 inch when you turn on the engine and stop driving no matter how hot the oil gets, even after a full day of highway speed driving. Beware! The money I saved on that cheap gauge now cost me $73.75 for new oil, not counting the time it took me to remove it and replace it with a Harley gauge. I should have gone with the Harley gauge first. I paid more but got a product that works. Another reason I chose this meter from Revain and Auto Meter is because it's made in the USA and I trust Revain. The Harley sensor is made in another country and works, they say, for American production.
