Review on Quadrafire 812-0210 Thermocouple: Ideal for 🔥 Quadrafire 800, 1000, 1100i, and 1200 Models by Julie Davis

Bought for a free standing pellet stove with classic Quadrafire compartment. I immediately noticed that it was a much thinner wire than the original and that the ends weren't twisted, just soldered. As I had a follow up I assumed it was a new replacement as the part number was correct. Installed it with a new pot gasket, thermocouple mount and a few other things and when I lit it it started the initial fire but then stopped feeding pellets so I was confused about the problem. After going to my local oven shop I found that the thermocouple was not suitable for my oven as the correct one is much heavier, with ends twisted and soldered. After spending a week and a half trying to figure out what was wrong, I finally bought it from a local store and installed it. Since then, the furnace has been working with the correct thermocouple. I had no problem getting this seller to refund the purchase price after explaining the problem. Many Thanks.
