I have curly hair and need something to detangle and shape it. This set works perfectly! I use a large flexible brush for detangling and a 9 row brush for styling and curl definition. I've never used a Denman style brush, but it really works! There are many videos on YouTube showing you how to use it. A comb with wide teeth is a bonus and will always come in handy for a curly-haired girl. :) Absolutely worth the price.
