Bought as a RAM upgrade for Toshiba Satellite A205. RAM showed up in the BIOS but the computer wouldn't boot. It's definitely NOT the RAM. After a bit of research I found that satellites are pretty finicky and have "tight tolerances" for aftermarket use. So. I'm not writing this as a criticism of this product which I'm sure would work on a different computer, but to let people know that it won't work if they have less expensive RAM (or sometimes just a other brand) buy their system, it may not be RAM, but the system is picky. In this case, I could go with Crucial - a little more expensive, but it worked.
