Review on Genuine Victor CA1350 100FC Cutting by Matt Chirila

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is a Victor 100 series medium output, if you want a big burner buy one

This is a genuine Victor 100 series medium output burner with properly machined parts that actually fit together as they should. The main gas valves and oxygen preheat valve operate smoothly, restricting gas flow as it should. The shut-off valve does not jam and works smoothly. This is my blue wrench, soldering and welding torch and it works just like the Victor I bought in the 80's. how it should be. I work on my cars, tractors and garden tools. It's unusual for me to cut a sheet more than 1/4 inch. Nuts and bolts don't really give a decent mid-power burner a real workout. It doesn't leak inwards and therefore doesn't burn as easily in the burner as the dangerous cheap Chinese imitations. If you're looking for a heavier burner, get the Victor 300 series. It's great for car and tractor repairs, just like the Victor 100 -Series is not a high power burner. Do your homework. If you are looking for a high performance Victor cutter then buy a 300 series cutter. Don't complain that the 100 series isn't big enough and give negative feedback because you haven't done your homework.
