I bought this a few weeks ago and I'm still annoyed enough to write this review. Yes, it has "Different Color Settings", but that means one of the pre-selected solid colors on the remote, or multiple you can choose from up to two options. These are July 4th (Red-White-Blue) and Christmas (Multicolored). That's all. This is the only choice you have. The pictures with the description and below if you scroll down make me believe they can do so much more. You can not. You can't select multiple custom colors, so anything that shows two colors at once isn't possible unless it's one of the preset white key options (waves, strobe, fade, etc.). You have no options other than being installed or fixed. For example, if you're using Blink, the lights will alternately flash red/green for a few seconds, then green/blue, then red/green again. When you press "Flicker" a second time, it flashes red, white, and blue (July 4th colors). Again, that's all. There is no other "flicker" option. The same applies to other options. If, like me, you're hoping to make real user decisions, stay away. I originally bought them with the intention of using them all year round and changing colors depending on the month starting with Halloween. Unfortunately it's not possible to make the combination I wanted, purple, orange and green. I can't even do two of these colors. So I would be forced to choose just one. It's useless to me. I can get light wherever possible. So much for this idea. If you want real choice, I'd recommend finding something else to match your color choices, or dropping the big bucks for Twinkly brand lights. They have an app that lets you do pretty much everything I've experimented with. I don't have flashlights but you can play with the app. Oh my gosh they are expensive and they don't have mesh lighting right now which is what I want for my porch. I emailed them on September 13th to ask if there was anything I could do other than the presets, just to make sure I wasn't completely stupid for not doing anything other than the presets. Still no reply as of today the 28th. So yes. TLDR: No choice but limited solids or limited presets. No product support. No turning back. I would stay away Edit: I wanted to update this and forgot. The company contacted me shortly after the first message. So at least there was something. I also tried playing with it and some solid colors don't work. Light violet and grape violet, to name just one. The red LEDs that light it up flash for half a second and then turn off immediately. Unfortunately, I still stand by my assessment. Too bad because the size of this deck was absolutely perfect for me.
