These are giftable but while they are beautiful and go well with the homemade coasters I have to use a Lysol wipe or rubbing alcohol to get any blemishes or dust off of them and some of them will get rid of them right away. they are black, most cleaning products contain alcohol. Not sure how soap and water works on them, haven't tried it but if you want to use a spray to wash them and give them a quick wipe while cleaning tables or counters. Don't do this, you will smear the table black. Other than that, they work well for my craft and they're nice, but I'll probably buy some granite that have a coating like Apoxy. 👍🏻
