I bought this lamp for my daughter in her loft bed. I wanted her to be able to see her going down the stairs when she woke up at night. It's bright and she LOVES the remote control! It always changes color! I love that you can change the brightness between 3 different settings. She uses the bottom one as a night light, but can rotate it higher to see better. The good thing is that it can be attached to the wall with magnetic tape, but it's easy to remove. My daughter likes to carry it around with her. It would be great to travel with, vacation, sleepover, etc., and then it could just be hung on the wall again. The only thing that worried me was the batteries. I didn't need a light that I had to constantly charge. and it can't be an outlet because it's in the loft bed. I was afraid that the batteries would run out quickly and it would take quite a while. But my daughter has been using it every night for a month now and usually leaves it on all night and I haven't changed the batteries at all!
