Set RPM <50% in standby
Great fans that are difficult to hear in a sealed case at RPMs below 50%. Heard, but above 50% not uncomfortable. My computer is on the table a meter to my left. Keep in mind that if your PSU isn't quiet or turns off a fan at low loads, its fan will likely be louder than those fans. Also, any active hard drive is much louder than case fans. After installing them for several hours, I thought I heard a loud fan noise coming from my computer. Turns out the heat is on in our house, which has an air vent under my computer desk. He had never been so noticed. With these fans and my new quiet power supply, I can comfortably hear the distant freeway and all the gardening work next door.
