Review on Maison Hermine Birdies Cotton Napkins by Tim Evans

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Beautiful napkins; large, annoying labels

These napkins are beautiful and soft. They would look very elegant if ironed after washing but for family I just fold them straight out of the dryer and they are so pretty! I'd love to give these napkins five stars, but I have one complaint, and a big one: they have a giant label on the hem! The labels are pretty attractive; but they are still just labels and they don't stay folded! They flutter: 100% COTTON! MADE IN INDIA! The sad thing is that this label problem is easily solved by the manufacturer. If they were sewn on with a separate stitch, they could easily be removed with a small pair of scissors after purchase. The only way to remove the label is to tear off that part of the hem and then sew it again with the sewing machine. I will do that.

Pros
  • Kitchen and table linen
Cons
  • There are doubts
