Review on ๐Ÿงฆ Discover Unparalleled Comfort with Seavenger Zephyr 3mm Neoprene Dive Socks! by Scott Kalinowski

These little ribbed socks are great!

After reading the reviews of a number of other ribbed socks I bought a pair of Seavengers for myself and a pair for my husband for a trip to the Galapagos Islands and I'm glad I did. I packed them up thinking we would use them snorkeling and then forgot about them. We wore Keen shoes for the first water landing and then had to walk on the sand along the shore. Well the sand seeped through the cracks in our boots and started rubbing our feet as we walked - not good. That night my husband remembered and mentioned ribbed socks. The next time we put on socks before putting on Keens, the problem of sand and mud rubbing our feet was solved! While not waterproof, these little kids are thick enough to provide good cushioning and protection from sand and mud. They also go high enough on your heels to keep sand or whatever from getting in and keep your shoes from chafing in that area. Other people struggling with sand (or similar socks that were lower at the heel than ours) stopped to ask what those socks were and where we got them from. I was a little worried about the sizing but I read what other reviewers said along with the Seavenger sizing. I ordered small women's shoes. For reference, I usually wear 8.5 medium shoes. My feet are slim and a little bony, and the little ones are just the right length. They feel quite tight when you first put them on, but loosen up a bit when they get wet. I think you need to be careful to stay in snorkel fins if you use them for this (I'm not a big snorkeler so can't comment on how it would work as I snuggled up to the shore during snorkeling time). My husband's fin socks are medium sized. He usually wears size 8 medium shoes and his legs are neither fat nor thin. His socks are also snug and there is no room for excess. These water fin socks seem to me to be quite durable, rinse out easily and dry quickly. They are not designed for walking on rocks or rough terrain but should last with proper care when used with snorkel fins, running short distances on the beach or, as we have used, used in trainers like Keens. .
