Although this pen may look expensive at first glance, it lasts a long time so it's actually a good price. I have 7 cats, 6 of which were recently purchased, so I had to find the best litter that controls odors longer, clumps really tight and is biodegradable. After trying many others, it turned out that Worlds Best really was the best. I don't like flavored options, the smell overwhelms my nose, but that's a personal matter. This putty sticks together very tightly and dries very quickly. Kittens squat super fast. Digging up a box with this filler is very easy. There is very little dust. There is some marking, but that's the case with any filler with a fine texture, and I think it leaves less marking than most. I use double layer honeycomb mats and they control most of the spill very well. This padding can be a little heavier than some of the others, but I've found that ultralight padding tends to have a lot less stretch, so that's a tradeoff you'll have to work out. Worlds Best has very good odor control, probably because it dries out. so quickly, but only if your cat effectively cleans up its mess. I'm missing a few, otherwise it smells initially, but that's not due to the litter. All in all, I'm glad I found this product.
