Purchased in July 2018. Worked well for the first couple of months, then put it in the back of the car to use on the road if needed. Luckily I didn't need it either, but I tried to use it now (about 2 years later) and the batteries died. I could understand that, but trying to remove the screws holding this thing together to get to the batteries was impossible. From what I understand it's cheaper to buy a new one than replacing the batteries, which cost about the same. I originally paid about $6 for it.
