They say they don't fit the 2005 Scion TC but bought it anyway because the manufacturer said so. As I said, both buttons were programmed normally and the first time. Now there could be a problem here. I have two keys so far. One of the broken ones I bought and one from Wal-Mart. The one I bought at Wal-Mart wasn't a chip key, it was a key that just opened the door if I ever needed it. Both buttons are very difficult to use. I have to press the keys to unlock the doors but the chips start the car fine but it's a bit hard to turn on the ignition. Not hard, as in hard, but not oily-smoothed. I will update this once I get a duplicate key from a dealership or locksmith that can properly cut car keys. The broken key was cut with an old hand held key cutter so I immediately saw the difference in the keys. So stay tuned for updates soon.
